Thanks so much for visiting my blog! Guess I better tell you a bit about myself while I’ve got you on this page, huh? Let’s see….where to start? I’m an on location available light photographer in Central Virginia. I work mostly in Richmond, Charlottesville and Lexington although I’m certainly not afraid of traveling throughout the state, nation or overseas. I absolutely LOVE what I do and cannot imagine doing anything else…..ever. So feel free to take a look around and definitely visit my site if you haven’t stopped by yet:

What question do you get asked most frequently?
“Is Sunshine really your middle name?” And the answer is yes, Sunshine really is my middle name. I am a native Floridian (you know, The Sunshine State) even though you might not be able to tell it by my porcelain (pasty white) skin.
What is your favorite thing about photography?
I don’t know that I have one favorite thing about photography…I have many. But if I had to choose something, it would be having the ability to be creative AND tell stories at the same time. I love that combo.
What is one household item you can’t stand?
I might be showing my craziness here, but I absolutely MUST have all white paper towels. No printed paper towels for me. My husband sometimes tries to sneak them in when he comes back from the store (as if I won’t ever notice). Then inevitably, the whole conversation about how weird it is that I don’t like printed paper towels ensues….like a girl’s not allowed to have preferences? Gees.;-)
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years, I hope to have my own studio. It’d be glorious to have a quiet place away from home to retreat to and work…then go home for the day. It seems that when you work from home, you are ALWAYS working. So yeah, a studio would be more than nice. I’d also like to be traveling the world as a destination wedding photographer with a few of my closest photog buddies along for the ride!;-)
