A New Look!

This post is long overdue…but I absolutely HAVE to share the brand new look of Tiffani Sunshine Photography!  For those of you that have already seen it, it might be old news to you so I will just tell you where I got it.  But for those of you who pretty much just follow the blog and don’t jump over to the site too much, I thought I’d unveil my sweet new baby.;-)  A few months ago I decided I needed to freshen up the old logo.  While I love the old logo to pieces, it just needed a revamp…if for no other reason than the main font that was used has become one of the single most popular fonts in the photography world!  So, my logo wasn’t quite so unique anymore.  But it did serve me well for the many years that I had it, that’s for sure…and I was sad to see it go.  BUT…I couldn’t have asked for a better replacement.  I had a vision of what I wanted my new logo to look like, but I was never quite able to pull it off myself (just in a rough draft, mind you!).   Once I shared my vision with my buddy Christy from Through These Eyes Creations (http://throughtheseeyescreations.com/) she knew exactly what I wanted and was able to design my perfect logo right off the bat.  I fell in love.  She truly was able to create exactly what I was looking for in a logo and then some.  I have to tell you, I see soooooo many photographers out there trying to design their own logos.  Some look absolutely fabulous….others could quite frankly use a little help.  So if I could give a word of advice to my fellow photog friends, do not be afraid to hire someone that specializes in design on the logo end, so you can have a flawless look AND free up some of your time to work on other things like ummm…I don’t know, sessions and editing!;-)

And just so you can actually see what all the fuss is about, here is my new, improved, and all around awesome new logo!

Family Fun!

I just wanted to hop on and post a sneak peek from a recent family session that was so much fun!  I have many, many more to share, but promised to share at least one before the actual proofs were finished.  These guys were such a blast.  Not only did they want to move the couch outside, mom and dad allowed the kids to jump on it!  So I won’t waste any time at all…I’l just show you one of my favorites from our time together.

I’ll be sure to post more soon!;-)

In front of the lens

Not too many photographers have the chance to actually get in front of the lens for a photo session.   What better time to arrange a session though, when you are getting together with a group of friends (all photographers) that are more than willing to do a downtown urban session topped off with a beautifully sunlit field?   Before heading to Dallas, Tammy decided she wanted to do a session for her hubby.  She knew that now was her chance.  Now Tammy is quite an incredible photographer, and as it turns out, she’s quite the little model too!   Check out a few of my favorite images from our session…

She surely is gorgeous, huh?  I’m pretty positive her husband will agree.;-)

Beautiful mama

As promised I have a few pics to share that were taken while I was in Dallas.;-)  I had the chance to participate in a mini maternity session with several of my photographer buddies and my good friend Kristy Lane (also a photographer) as the model.  Kristy was the cutest little pregnant gal…well, I can’t really call her cute when in all actuality, she’s absolutely STUNNING.  And I’m pretty sure she has gained not one ounce of weight ANYWHERE on her body besides her belly.  Sickening, I tell ya….ha!  I’ll post a few pics below for ya…most including her absolutely adorable little guys.  I’ve seen their precious faces in images online over the years, so it was really quite a treat to be able to meet the handsome little fellas in person.  Check them out…

And just for fun, here’s a picture from an evening out with the gals at the Melting Pot.  Definitely an awesome time!

Brianne Norgaard (Essence Portraits), Tammy Odell, Jessica Hughes, me, Mellanie White, Kimberly Whipps (Barefoot Photography), Sandy Landon, Jessica McCollum (Jessicas Visions) and Kristy Lane.

I’ve still got images to post from a urban/formal session we did with Tammy Odell!  Stay tuned for those babies!!!

Miss Personality!

I just got in from Dallas, TX late last night after having visited some of my closest photog friends from all over the US.  We had such a blast…it was so cool finally meeting these gals that I’ve been chatting online with for YEARS!  I’ll be posting more about that trip later, but first I wanted to pop on here and let everyone know I’m back and working frantically to get caught up from having a few days off.

I promised this little cutie’s mom that I’d give her a sneak peek from our recent session to tide her over until I have all of her proofs finished.   So here are a few for you Amy….hope you love them!

And if anyone is wondering where the adorable little dress came from in the first few photos, you’ve got to check out April Scott’s etsy site (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5166292).  I discovered her at the Strawberry Street Festival a few weeks ago and fell in love.  It’s most unfortunate that I don’t have a daughter to dress in these fun and funky dresses, so I guess I’ll just have to stick to photographing my cutie clients.;-)

Alright…I’m off to play some more catch up!  Until next time…
